Catholic Campus Ministry

The mission of Catholic Campus Ministry is to "See God in all things". In cooperation with The Church of the Resurrection, we strive to offer Edison State Students a place to call home. Catholic Campus Ministry tends to the pastoral needs of all students through conversations, retreats and service. We strive to nourish ourselves by nourishing each other. The life of a college student is often times busy and rushed; Campus Ministry is a safe haven for students to relax, reflect, and journey together. The club would be Catholic in nature although it would be open to all students.

Club Sponsors:

Dr. Sharon Rooks has taught humanities full time at Edison since 1981. Her doctorate in Interdisciplinary Humanities is from Florida State University. She is a member of St. Cecilia's and holds a certificate in Spiritual Direction from the Rice School for Pastoral Ministry.

Mrs. Mary Myers is the Associate Dean of Edison On-line. She is a member of Church of the Resurrection.

Club Facilitator:

Lea Pascotto is the Coordinator of Faith Development at Church of the Resurrection. Lea attended Creighton University with a co-major in Theology and Education. She later went on to receive a double masters degree at Boston College in Pastoral Ministry and Counseling Psychology. Being a native of Fort Myers, Lea is enthusiastic about working with Edison State Students in continuing to build a cohesive community founded on faith.
