Prayer for Vocations

O God, Father of all Mercies,
Provider of a bountiful Harvest,
send Your Graces upon those
You have called to gather the fruits of Your labor;
preserve and strengthen them in their lifelong service of you.

Open the hearts of Your children
that they may discern Your Holy Will;
inspire in them a love and desire to surrender themselves
to serving others in the name of Your son, Jesus Christ.

Teach all Your faithful to follow their respective paths in life
guided by Your Divine Word and Truth.
Through the intercession of the Most Blessed Virgin Mary,
all the Angels, and Saints, humbly hear our prayers
and grant Your Church's needs, through Christ, our Lord.

Amen.

 All parishes in the Diocese of Venice are being asked to take the
 FOLLOWING PRECAUTIONS TO HELP
MITIGATE THE SPREAD OF THE FLU:
*Please share the Sign of Peace without touching hands.
*Please do not hold hands during the reciting of Our Father.
*Parishioners should not come to Mass when they are not feeling well.
Until the Flu season has passed, these guidelines should be followed.

 PREVENT THE FLU
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. When you are sick,
keep your distance from others to protect them from getting sick, too.
Stay home when you are sick. You will help prevent others from catching your illness.
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing.
Wash your hands often to help protect you from germs.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.
Germs are often spread when a person touches something that is contaminated with germs
and then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth. Practice other good health habits.
Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids,
and eat nutritious food.
