Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord

Classes offer children engaging age-appropriate lessons in the Catholic faith through the lens of Salvation History- from Creation to the Lord's Great Commissioin to "Go forth and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."  ~Matthew 28: 19-20

By the end of the year children will understand...

• they were created by God before time, brought forth at the appointed time, and are loved so fully that all of time leading up to the New Testament points to Jesus's coming to save them, and all time since fulfills the promise of establishing an eternal relationship with them through His Church.
• they are part of One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.
• that we celebrate our faith through the Divine Liturgy; by receiving Christ in the Eucharist we are strengthened, renewed and able to bring Jesus into the world with every encounter.
• that our faith is revealed through Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition. 
• our Blessed Mother, Mary, always points us to her Son, Jesus. We revere and honor her as Jesus did and take to heart her words to "Do whatever He tells you."
