First Holy Communion
Preparation for First Holy Communion begins in the family as you attend Mass and live Christ in your daily life. Formal preparation normally begins in the 1st and 2nd grades. Parents are the primary teachers of the faith by their example, and catechists assist parents in this vocation. A Rite of Enrollment is held during Mass to present all the children to the Parish community for blessing and prayer. A Eucharist Retreat for the parents and First Communicants, is the final preparation for the Sacrament.
