CONFIRMATION
The Sacrament of Confirmation is normally celebrated in 10th grade in the second year of formation at a time when the candidate is sufficiently mature to be able to confirm their Baptismal call.
Year One of Confirmation Prep
Preparation includes the following:
- Active Participation weekly in Resurrection Faith Formation
Year Two of Confirmation Prep
Preparation includes the following:
- Active Participation in Resurrection Faith Formation (including parent/candidate Confirmation meeting)
- Rite of Enrollment with Sponsors & Candidates
- Series of Confirmation classes (averaging once a month)
- Researching and choosing a saint to be the Candidate's patron saint for Confirmation
- Participation in Mass Ministry throughout the year
- WEEKLY Mass attendance
- The Rite of Confirmation
