|St. Vincent DePaul Society:||
The St. Vincent DePaul Society was founded over 100 years ago in Paris, France, and named in honor of the great saint who spent his life assisting the poor. Besides working to alleviate the needs of the poor in the parish itself, the Conference of the Church of the Resurrection helps the many transients who arrive in the area and find themselves in immediate need of financial help for necessitates such as food. The Society is a volunteer group and is funded by voluntary donations, mainly through the "Poor Boxes" situated at the entrances of the church. For more information, please see the St Vincent de Paul page on this website.
Contact SVdP directly at the Parish Center at 239-600-6749.
A religious articles shop is located in the main vestibule of the church. There are books, devotionals, gifts, greeting cards, and holy cards for all occasions including: Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, Weddings, etc. Volunteers are needed for Saturdays and Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Please come in and shop.
